Canton has recently been taken over and transformed into a high quality dining experience.
Specialising in Thai, Malaysian and Cantonese food, the new chef has introduced some
innovative dishes which are full of flavour and presented in such a way that you’ll
want to come back for more!

David Lee, proprietor of Cottage Canton, is on a mission to create awareness of his
restaurant in East Kilbride and beyond!
David’s background as a chef in some of the top Cantonese restaurants in Northern
Ireland has given him the knowledge and desire to do it himself.
He moved to East Kilbride in 2009 to realise his dream of owning and running a highly
regarded Thai/Cantonese restaurant, when he saw the opportunity to develop Cottage
With his vast experience, and that of full-time chef Michael, he has created a menu
with attention to detail which is seldom found in other Cantonese restaurants.
Seafood is a speciality and the menu is extensive, so there’s something for everyone.
The interior is warm and welcoming and there’s a separate function room which can
hold up to 30 people if you’re looking for a celebration venue.
